What Is A Fanlisting?
A fanlisting is a website made by a fan, for other fans. It lets everyone unite as a fan of a specific topic and they can register as members to be listed. This fanlisting is for fans of the animated character Dib from Jhonen Vasquez's Invader Zim.Why Dib?
In the beginning, when I first watched Invader Zim; I was not a fan of Dib and he wasn't my favorite character. However it changed later on... but at the time, I wasn't fond of him, finding him to be weird or just not the type of character I would like. but after seeing more episodes and what he had to go through, my perspective of him changed completely. At the time he was beginning to grow on me; however one day it just turned to be a full out case of being a fan as you may say. However this was all before I ever got into webdesign or even fanlistings.When I discovered that his fanlisting was up for adoption by Kayleigh, I was nervous but swallowed my nerves and sent in an application; I was anxious to find out rather I would be chosen or rejected and much to my surprise; I was chosen to adopt his fanlisting and I'm happy about it... considering Dib needs more love than he gets.
"Paranoia Agent"? Layout?
The name came to be while I was thinking about Dib, as I was designing the layout when I first adopted him; I wasn't quite sure what to call it and the name "Paranoia Agent" struck me headon, and it seemed to match due to his paranoia as well as other traits of his character and personality.The layout would be considered the "reborn" version of the original before the fanlisting (along with everything else) went down due to host issues. The layout is dark and is more "professional" than the previous; overall the color scheme seems to work quite well.
